Another Bonfire and Firework Spectacular has been and gone – and what an event it was this year!
We estimate that we’ve pulled our biggest crowd ever this year as more people from both within the village and outside the village join us to see what all the fuss is about.
To everyone that came along to support our display either by coming along to watch, purchase from our stalls or giving a donation (however big or small), we’d just like to say a HUGE Thank You!
We would also like to express an extra special thanks to the following for their continued support of the years:
- Elton Parish Council
- Cheshire West and Chester Council (and Ward Councillor Stephen Smith)
- Essar
- Elton Primary School
- Friends of Elton Primary School
- Mitchell Brothers (Cheshire Oaks)
- Elton SPAR
- Encirc and Cheshire Waste
- Black Cat Fireworks
- Award Computing Ltd
This is currently Elton’s only annual community event! As a community group and registered charity, we invest a huge amount of time and money into staging this event – your continued support is crucial to the success of this event.
Finally, we must also remember to say a huge thank you to the team of volunteers here at 1st Ince and Elton Scout Group. Not are they supporting a weekly programme to each of the sections (that’s Beavers, Cubs and Scouts), they also give up their time for weekend activities and also find more time to stage great community events such as this. So a huge BRAVO goes out to them.
The ‘Elton Bonfire and Firework Spectacular’ returns for it’s 9th year in 2019 on Friday 1st November – save the date!!
