SUMMARY:The Royal Cheshire County Show
DESCRIPTION:For more than 175 years\, the Cheshire show has been the premier summertime agricultural event in the North West of England. Earlier this year we reached an exciting milestone in our rich history when the honour of ‘Royal’ status was bestowed on the show by the Cabinet Office. The 2016 event sees the inauguration of the newly titled\, Royal Cheshire County Show and we are looking forward to providing a fun-packed\, memorable occasion for our visitors\, competitors and exhibitors alike. \nWith its roots firmly embedded in farming\, the 2016 show will\, again hold the many competition classes for cattle\, sheep\, pigs and dairy goats\, but will also include hundreds of classes for light and heavy horses\, show jumping\, rare breeds of livestock\, poultry\, pygmy goats\, pigeons\, cavies\, rabbits and dog show. \nThe 2016 show will also feature the Roberts Bakery Food Halls and Food Live Theatre\, The Sainsbury’s Agri Centre\, Inspired Villages Village Green\, Countryside Experience Area\, Creamline Main Ring\, and the Costain Rural Life Area which includes\, Cheshire WI\, NAFAS Flower Marquee\, Schools Out\, NFU Publicity and many\, many more. \nVolunteers from Cheshire Scouts will once again be supporting the show.
